Haylee Millikan (they/she, but mostly they) is an award-winning poet, interdisciplinary artist, intersectional feminist, and professional researcher working across television, film, and new media. Haylee is an alum of The New School of Social Research, where they received a Masters in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism and a graduate certificate in Gender & Sexuality Studies. They currently work as an Editorial Research Manager at National Geographic. They worked previously as a a full-time Fact Checker at Parcast/Spotify Studios, and have freelanced for many organizations and institutions in media (The Poetry Foundation, New York Times, New York Magazine, LWC Studios, etc.)

Haylee is proudly queer and disabled. They are originally from Spokane, WA, but spent their 20s living all across the country (Seattle, NYC, LA, D.C.) — they’ve recently re-settled back in Los Angeles with their husband Theo and their three cats.
